నోట్లరద్దు వల్ల వ్యభిచారం తగ్గింది: కేంద్రమంత్రి రవిశంకర ప్రసాద్

రూ.500, రూ.1000 ట్ల రద్దుతో ప్రాస్టిట్యూషన్ తగ్గిందని కేంద్ర న్యాయశాఖ మంత్రి రవిశంకర ప్రసాద్ అన్నారు.

న్యూఢిల్లీ: రూ.500, రూ.1000 ట్ల రద్దుతో ప్రాస్టిట్యూషన్ తగ్గిందని కేంద్ర న్యాయశాఖ మంత్రి రవిశంకర ప్రసాద్ అన్నారు. పెద్ద నోట్ల రద్దుతో వ్యభిచారానికీ అడ్డుకట్ట పడిందన్నారు.

ఉగ్రవాదం, నక్సలిజాలతో పాటు వ్యభిచారం కూడా తగ్గడానికి నోట్ల రద్దు నిర్ణయం ఉపయోగపడిందని చెప్పారు.

నేపాల్‌, బంగ్లాదేశ్‌ల నుంచి వ్యభిచారిణుల్ని తీసుకువచ్చే ముఠాలు దాని కోసం రూ.500, రూ.వెయ్యి విలువైన పాతనోట్లను వాడేవని చెప్పారు. ఆ నోట్లను రద్దు చేశాక వ్యభిచారం తగ్గిందని హోంశాఖ గణాంకాలూ చెబుతున్నాయన్నారు.
