అరె.. వాళ్లెవరండీ బాబూ.. అనుకుంటున్నారా? మీరే చదవండి మరి. ఛత్తీస్‌గఢ్ లోని ఖుర్దా బ్లాక్‌కు చెందిన సెమ్రాసీ గ్రామస్థులు ఈనెల 12నే అత్యంత వైభవంగా దీపావళి వేడుకలు జరుపుకున్నారు.

దీపావళి పండుగ ఒక్కటే కాదు. వీరు హోలీతో పాటు మరికొన్ని పండుగలను కూడా దేశ ప్రజలందరి కంటే ఓ వారం రోజుల ముందుగానే చేసుకుంటూ ఉంటారు. ఎందుకిలా? అంటే ఆ గ్రామపెద్ద పలు విషయాలు వెల్లడించారు.

ఈ ఆచారం సెమ్రాసీ గ్రామంలో ఎప్పటినుంచో వస్తోందట. నాలుగు ముఖ్యమైన పండుగలను వారం రోజుల ముందుగానే నిర్వహిస్తుంటారట. 1500 మంది జనాభా కలిగిన ఈ గ్రామంలో ఈ ఆచారాన్ని ఎవరూ అతిక్రమించకపోవడం విశేషం. గ్రామదేవత ఆశీస్సులు పొందేందుకే వీరు ఇలా చేస్తుంటారట!
