ప్రైవేటు పాఠశాలల ఫీజుల పెంపుపై హైకోర్టు స్టే

ప్రైవేటు పాఠశాలల్లో ఫీజుల పెంపునకు అనుమతిస్తూ ఢిల్లీ రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఇచ్చిన ఆదేశాలను బుధవారం ఢిల్లీ హైకోర్టు నిలిపేసింది. ఈ ఆదేశాలపై విద్యార్థుల పిటిషన్‌ను ఢిల్లీ హైకోర్టు విచారణకు స్వీకరించింది.

న్యూఢిల్లీ : ప్రైవేటు పాఠశాలల్లో ఫీజుల పెంపునకు అనుమతిస్తూ ఢిల్లీ రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఇచ్చిన ఆదేశాలను ఢిల్లీ హైకోర్టు నిలిపేసింది. ఏడో వేతన సంఘం నివేదిక నేపథ్యంలో ప్రైవేటు స్కూళ్లలో ఫీజుల పెంపుపై ఢిల్లీ సర్కారు ఒక సర్క్యులర్‌ను జారీ చేసింది.

ఈ ఆదేశాలపై విద్యార్థుల పిటిషన్‌ను ఢిల్లీ హైకోర్టు విచారణకు స్వీకరించింది. న్యూఢిల్లీలోని మయూర్ విహార్‌కు చెందిన 100 మంది ఏఎస్ఎన్ పబ్లిక్ స్కూల్‌ విద్యార్థులు ఈ పిటిషన్‌ను దాఖలు చేశారు.

కేజ్రీవాల్ ప్రభుత్వం అక్టోబరులో ఓ సర్క్యులర్‌ను జారీ చేసింది. ఢిల్లీ డెవలప్‌మెంట్ అథారిటీ భూమిలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన రికగ్నయిజ్డ్ అన్ ఎయిడెడ్ ప్రైవేట్ స్కూళ్ళు తమ విద్యార్థుల ఫీజులను 15 శాతం వరకు పెంచుకోవచ్చునని పేర్కొంది.

ఏడో వేతన సవరణ సంఘం సిఫారసుల అమలుకు వీలు కల్పించేందుకు ఈ సర్క్యులర్‌ను జారీ చేసింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ప్రైవేటు పాఠశాలల్లో ఫీజుల పెంపుపై విద్యార్థులు తల్లిదండ్రులు ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు.

యథేచ్ఛగా ఫీజులు పెంచుతూ, తమను వేధిస్తున్నాయని విద్యార్థుల తల్లిదండ్రులు ప్రభుత్వానికి ఫిర్యాదు చేయగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేజ్రీవాల్ స్పందిస్తూ అలాంటి ప్రైవేటు పాఠశాలలపై కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని హెచ్చరించారు.
