జమ్మూలో కాల్పులు: ఒకే కుటుంబానికి చెందిన ఐదుగురి మృతి

శ్రీనగర్: పాకిస్తాన్ బలగాలు మరోసారి కాల్పుల విరమణ ఒప్పందాన్ని ఉల్లంఘించి కాల్పులకు తెగబడ్డాయి. ఆదివారం ఉదయం జమ్మూకశ్మీర్ పూంచ్ జిల్లాలోని బాలకోటే సెక్టార్లో నియంత్రణ రేఖ వెంబడి పాక్ రేంజర్లు కాల్పులు జరపగా, ఒకే కుటుంబానికి చెందిన ఐదుగురు ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు.

మృతులను చౌదరీ రంజాన్ ఆయన భార్య మల్కా బీ, వారి ముగ్గురు కుమారులుగా గుర్తించారు. పాక్ కాల్పుల్లో రంజాన్ ఇద్దరు కుమార్తెలు కూడా గాయపడ్డారు. ప్రస్తుతం వారిద్దరూ ఆసుపత్రిలో చికిత్స పొందుతున్నారు.

పాక్ కాల్పులకు దిగడంతో భారత బలగాలు కూడా దీటుగా బదులిస్తున్నాయి. ఆదివారం ఉదయం 7:45 గంటల నుంచి పాక్ కాల్పలు ప్రారంభించిందని ఆర్మీ అధికారులు తెలిపారు. జనావాసాలే లక్ష్యంగా పాక్ దాడులకు తెగబడినట్లు చెప్పారు.

ఇరు దేశాల మధ్య దౌత్య సంబంధాలు కఠినతరమైన పరిస్థితుల్లో పాకిస్తాన్ కాల్పులకు తెగబడటంతో పరిస్థితులు మరింత ఉద్రిక్తంగా మారే అవకాశం ఉంది. పాకిస్తాన్‌లోని తమ దౌత్యాధికారులకు వేధింపులు ఎదురవుతుండటంపై కూడా భారత విదేశాంగ శాఖ ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేసింది.

మరోవైపు భారత్‌లోని తమ అధికారులను కూడా వేధిస్తున్నారంటూ పాకిస్తాన్ ఈ నెల ఆరంభంలో అంతర్జాతీయంగా భారత్‌ను ఇరుకున పెట్టేందుకు విఫలయత్నం చేసింది.

The shelling started at 7:45 am on Sunday morning, reports said, with Army spokesperson Lt Col Devender Anand telling news portals that Pakistani army were "specifically targeting civilian areas".
