జియో ఫోన్ ఎఫెక్ట్‌: ఎయిర్‌టెల్‌ కొత్త ఎత్తుగడ!

సంచలనాలకు మారు పేరుగా నిలిచిన రిలయన్స్ జియోకు పోటీగా ఎయిర్ టెల్ సరికొత్త ఎత్తుగడకు తెరతీసింది.

న్యూఢిల్లీ: సంచలనాలకు మారు పేరుగా నిలిచిన రిలయన్స్ జియోకు పోటీగా ఎయిర్ టెల్ సరికొత్త ఎత్తుగడకు తెరతీసింది. జియో నుంచి 4జీ వీఓఎల్‌టీఈ సదుపాయం కలిగిన ఫీచర్‌ ఫోన్‌ త్వరలో విడుదల కానున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే.

ఈ ఫోన్ పై ఇటు వినియోగదారుల్లో ఆసక్తి నెలకొనగా.. మరోవైపు ఇతర టెలికాం నెటవర్క్‌లు, ఫీచర్‌ ఫోన్‌ తయారీదారుల్లో ఆందోళన నెలకొంది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో జియోను ఎదుర్కొనేందుకు ఎయిర్ టెల్ కూడా సిద్ధమైంది.

జియో మాదిరిగా కొత్త స్మార్ట్‌ఫోన్‌ను తయారుచేయకుండా.. ఇప్పటికే ఉన్న కంపెనీలతో జట్టుకట్టి బండిల్‌ ఆఫర్లను ప్రకటించాలని ఎయిర్ టెల్ యోచిస్తోంది. ప్రస్తుతం జియో ఒక్కటే దేశంలో వీవోఎల్‌టీఈ సేవలను అందిస్తుండగా.. ఎయిర్‌టెల్‌ సైతం వచ్చే ఏడాది మార్చి నుంచి ఈ సేవలను ప్రారంభించబోతోంది.

మరోవైపు జియో 4జీ ఫీచర్‌ ఫోన్‌ ను తీసుకొస్తున్న నేపథ్యంలో ఫీచర్‌ ఫోన్లను తయారుచేసే కంపెనీలు మైక్రోమ్యాక్స్‌, ఇంటెక్స్‌, కార్బన్‌ వంటివి కూడా అదే తరహా ఫోన్లను మార్కెట్‌లోకి విడుదల చేయాలనుకుంటున్నాయి. ఈ క్రమంలో ఇప్పటికే స్మార్ట్‌ఫోన్‌ కొనుగోలుపై బండిల్‌ ఆఫర్లను ఇస్తున్న ఎయిర్‌టెల్‌.. ఆయా సంస్థలతో జట్టుకట్టి భవిష్యత్తులో అవి తీసుకురాబోయే ఫోన్లకు బండిల్‌ ఆఫర్లను ప్రకటించనుంది.

తొలుత 10 కోట్ల మంది వినియోగదారులు లక్ష్యంగా జియో తీసుకొస్తున్న ఫీచర్‌ ఫోన్‌లో ప్రస్తుతం ఒక్క సిమ్‌ మాత్రమే వేసుకునే అవకాశం ఉంది. అది కూడా కేవలం జియో నెట్‌వర్క్‌ మాత్రమే పనిచేసే విధంగా దానిని లాక్‌ చేస్తున్నారు. ఇప్పుడు ఎయిర్‌టెల్‌ కూడా ఇదే పద్ధతిని అనుసరించనుంది. ఇక మిగిలిన టెలికాం కంపెనీలు ఎలాంటి ఎత్తుగడలు వేస్తాయో వేచి చూడాల్సిందే!
