తీరం దాటిన అంపన్ తుఫాను...170 కిలోమీటర్ల వేగంతో.. యుద్ధ ప్రాతిపదికన సహాయక చర్యలు
బంగాళాఖాతంలో ఆగ్నేయ దిశగా ఏర్పడిన ఎంఫాన్ (Amphan) తుఫాన్ సూపర్ సైక్లోన్గా రూపాంతరం చెందింది. తీర ప్రాంతాలపై విరుచుకుపడబోతోంది. మన రాష్ట్రంలోని ఉత్తరాంధ్ర సహా మూడు రాష్ట్రాలను గజగజమంటూ వణికిస్తోంది. ఊహించిన దాని కంటే ఈ తుఫాన్ తీవ్రత అధికంగా ఉందని, పెను విధ్వంసాన్ని సృష్టించడం ఖాయంగా కనిపిస్తోందని భారత వాతావరణ శాఖ అధికారులు చెబుతున్నారు. అంచనాలకు మించి ఈ తుఫాన్ బలోపేతమైందని వెల్లడించారు. దీనికి ఇదివరకు ఆంఫన్ (Umpun)గా పేరుపెట్టారు.
బంగాళాఖాతానికి ఆగ్నేయ దిశగా ఏర్పడిన ఈ తుఫాన్ ప్రభావం వల్ల ఒడిశా, పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్, సిక్కింలల్లో భారీ నుంచి అతి భారీ వర్షాలు కురుస్తాయని, గంటకు 190 కిలోమీటర్ల వేగంతో ఈదురుగాలులు వీస్తాయని వాతావరణ శాఖ అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు. ఏపీలోని ఉత్తరాంధ్రపైనా తీవ్ర ప్రభావం ఉంటుందని వెల్లడించారు. ఒడిశాలోని కేంద్రపారా, పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్లోని దిఘా పట్టణం మధ్య తుఫాన్ తీరం దాటడానికి అవకాశం ఉన్నట్లు అంచనా వేశారు. తుఫాన్ తన దిశను మార్చుకునే అవకాశాలు లేవని స్పష్టం చేశారు. తుఫాన్ తీరాన్ని దాటే సమయంలో కల్లోలాన్ని మిగిల్చవచ్చని వెల్లడించారు.
