వాషింగ్టన్‌: పాకిస్తాన్ విషయంలో అమెరికా వైఖరి మరింత కరకుగా మారుతోంది. ఉగ్రమూకలకు మద్దతు ఇచ్చే విషయంలో పాక్‌ తన వైఖరి మార్చుకోకుంటే ఎలాంటి చర్యలు తీసుకునేందుకైనా అధ్యక్షుడు ట్రంప్‌ సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నారని అమెరికా రక్షణ శాఖ కార్యదర్శి జిమ్‌ మాటిస్‌ సంచలన వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు.

తీవ్రవాదులపై చర్యలేమీ తీసుకోవడం లేదు కదా? అని సెనేట్‌ సభ్యుడు అడిగిన ప్రశ్నకు మాటిస్‌ సమాధానమిస్తూ.. దక్షిణాసియాలో సుస్థిరత కోసం పాకిస్తాన్ చర్యలు తీసుకోకుంటే తమ వద్ద అనేక శక్తివంతమైన ప్రత్యామ్నాయాలు ఉన్నాయని స్పష్టం చేశారు.

ముష్కర మూకలపై చర్యలు తీసుకునే విషయంలో అంతర్జాతీయ సమాజంతో కలిసి వస్తే పాకిస్తాన్ కే మేలు జరుగుతుందని మాటిస్ అన్నారు. అమెరికాతో ఎన్నడూ లేని విధంగా దెబ్బతిన్న సంబంధాలను పునరుద్ధరించేందుకు పాకిస్తాన్ తన ప్రయత్నాలు మొదలుపెట్టింది.
