తెలంగాణలోని 119 అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గాల్లో నిజామాబాద్ రూరల్ ఒకటి. ఈ నియోజకవర్గం నిజామాబాద్ జిల్లాలో ఉంది. 2014లో జరిగిన అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో నిజామాబాద్ రూరల్ నుంచి టీఆర్ఎస్ అభ్యర్థి గోవర్ధన్ బాజిరెడ్డి ఎమ్మెల్యేగా ఎన్నికయ్యారు. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర సమితికి చెందిన గోవర్ధన్ బాజిరెడ్డి.. ఐఎన్‌సీ(ఇండియన్ నేషనల్ కాంగ్రెస్) అభ్యర్థి ధర్మపురి శ్రీనివాస్‌పై విజయం సాధించారు. గోవర్ధన్‌కి 78,107 ఓట్లు రాగా, శ్రీనివాస్‌కి 51,560 ఓట్లు వచ్చాయి.
