రూ.1,394 కోట్ల యూబీఐ స్కాం: బెంగళూరులో ‘టొటెం’ కంపెనీ డైరెక్టర్లు, అరెస్ట్ చేసిన సీబీఐ

హైదరాబాద్: వందల కోట్ల రూపాయల మేరకు బ్యాంకులను మోసగించిన వ్యవహారంలో టొటెం ఇన్‌ఫ్రాస్ట్రక్చర్ లిమిటెడ్ కంపెనీ డైరెక్టర్లను సీబీఐ అధికారులు శుక్రవారం అరెస్టు చేశారు. ఆ సంస్థ డైరెక్టర్లు తొట్టెంపూడి సలలిత్, కవితలను బెంగళూరులో అరెస్టు చేసినట్టు సమాచారం.

మొత్తం 8 బ్యాంకుల కన్సార్టియంను రూ.1394 కోట్ల మేరకు టొటెం ఇన్‌ఫ్రాస్ట్రక్చర్ లిమిటెడ్ మోసగించింది. హైదరాబాద్ లోని యూనియన్ బ్యాంకును రూ.313.84 కోట్ల మేరకు సదరు సంస్థ మోసగించింది. ఈ మేరకు యూనియన్ బ్యాంకు ఫిర్యాదు చేయడంతో ఆ సంస్థ డైరెక్టర్లు ఇద్దరు, మరికొందరిపై సీబీఐ కేసులు నమోదు చేసింది.

ఈ నేపథ్యంలో గురువారం నుంచే టొటెం గ్రూప్ సంస్థల్లో సీబీఐ సోదాలు చేసింది. యూనియన్ బ్యాంకు ఫిర్యాదు ఆ సంస్థ డైరెక్టర్లు తొట్టెంపూడి సలలిత్, కవిత అజ్ఞాతంలోకి వెళ్లిపోయిన నేపథ్యంలో వారి ఆచూకీ కనుగొనే పనిలో పడింది సీబీఐ.
