తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాలను వర్షాలు ముంచెత్తుతున్నాయి. హైదరాబాద్ సహా తెలంగాణ జిల్లాల్లో మంగళవారం(అక్టోబర్ 13) కురిసిన వర్షం జనాన్ని బెంబేలెత్తించింది. ముఖ్యంగా హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలో కురిసిన కుండపోత వాన జనాలకు వెన్నులో వణుకు పుట్టించింది. ఐదు లేదా ఆరు సెం.మీ వర్షపాతానికే అల్లకల్లోలమయ్యే నగరంలో 20సెం.మీ పైబడి వర్షం కురవడంతో నగరం జలదిగ్బంధంలో చిక్కుకుపోయింది. గత 18 ఏళ్ల రికార్డును బద్దలు కొట్టేలా కురిసిన వర్షంతో చాలా ప్రాంతాలు చెరువులను,నదులను తలపించాయి. భారీ వర్షాల నేపథ్యంలో రాష్ర్ట ప్రభుత్వం జీహెచ్ఎంసీ పరిధిలో బుధవారం (అక్టోబర్ 13),గురువారం(అక్టోబర్ 14) ప్రభుత్వ కార్యాలయాలకు సెలవులు ప్రకటించింది.
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లో వర్ష బీభత్సం కొనసాగుతోంది. భారీ వర్షాలు వరదలతో ప్రజలు తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారు. మరో నాలుగు రోజుల పాటు తేలికపాటి నుండి భారీ వర్షాలు కురుస్తాయని వాతావరణ శాఖ హెచ్చరికలు జారీ చేస్తోంది. ఇప్పటికే వాగులు వంకలు పొంగి ప్రవహిస్తున్నాయి .నదుల్లో వరద ప్రవాహం మరింత పెరిగింది. వర్షాలు, వరదలపై అప్రమత్తమైన ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం యుద్ధ ప్రాతిపదికన సహాయక చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించింది.
