తెలంగాణలోని 119 అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గాల్లో కామారెడ్డి ఒకటి. ఈ నియోజకవర్గం.. కామారెడ్డిని జిల్లా చేయడంతో జిల్లా కేంద్రంగా మారిపోయింది. 2014లో జరిగిన అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో కామారెడ్డి నుంచి టీఆర్ఎస్ అభ్యర్థి గంప గోవర్ధన్ ఎమ్మెల్యేగా ఎన్నికయ్యారు. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర సమితికి చెందిన గంప గోవర్ధన్.. ఐఎన్‌సీ(ఇండియన్ నేషనల్ కాంగ్రెస్) అభ్యర్థి మహ్మద్ అలీ షబ్బీర్‌పై విజయం సాధించారు. గంప గోవర్ధన్‌కి 71,961 ఓట్లు రాగా, మహ్మద్ అలీ షబ్బీర్‌కు 63,278 ఓట్లు వచ్చాయి.

Gampa Govardhan of Telangana Rashtra Samithi had obtained 71,961 votes against Mohd Ali Shabbir of INC who obtained 63,278 votes.
