    For Linux Operating System:

Copy one of the Telugu fonts file from Telugu Fonts(but we recommend pothana2000 font) to .fonts directory in the user's home directory. If .fonts directory does not exist in the home directory, please create it. Finally run the command 'fc-cache' from the command prompt.
It is very important to restart the browser, then only you will be able to read the content in Telugu.

    Mac and iPhone/iPad Users:

Mac:   Additional fonts and language kits are required for customers to view web pages in Telugu. For font download packages and detailed installation instructions visit: http://web.nickshanks.com/fonts/telugu/   We recommend Users to use Mac OS X 10.4 and Safari 2.0 to view the Unicode fonts without trouble.

iPhone:   iOS 4.2.1 supports Indian languages (iPhone & iPad). There is no need to install any fonts as it is part of the OS

    Mobile phones without language fonts

With Opera Mini browser, now you can read Indian language content on mobile phones which don't have built in unicode fonts. For this we need to turn on the bitmap fonts in 'opera mini',

    1. Type 'about:config' in mini address bar. This opens configuration settings.
    2. There is a option for use bitmap fonts. Change that to Yes.
