తత్కాల్ పాస్‌పోర్టు.. ఇక మరింత సులభం!

న్యూఢిల్లీ: తత్కాల్‌ పథకం కింద జారీ చేసే పాస్‌పోర్టులకు ఇకమీదట తిప్పలు పడాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. దీనికి సంబంధించిన నిబంధనలను విదేశాంగ మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ సడలించింది.

ఇప్పటి వరకు సీనియర్‌ గెజిటెడ్‌ అధికారులు సంబంధిత ధ్రువ పత్రాలను పరిశీలించాలనే నిబంధన ఉండేది. అయితే తాజాగా ఈ నిబంధనను ఎత్తివేశారు. ఆధార్‌ నెంబర్‌ ఆధారంగా తత్కాల్‌ పాస్‌పోర్టులను ఇవ్వాలని నిర్ణయించారు.

ఈ విధానం 2018 జనవరి 25 నుంచి అమల్లోకి వచ్చింది. ఈ మేరకు విదేశాంగ శాఖ శుక్రవారం ఓ ప్రకటనలో పేర్కొంది. అంతేకాదు, తత్కాల్‌ పాస్‌పోర్టును దరఖాస్తు సమర్పించిన మూడు పనిదినాల్లో మంజూరు చేయనున్నట్లు పేర్కొంది.

తత్కాల్‌ పథకంలో పాస్‌పోర్టు పొందేందుకు ఇప్పటి వరకు దరఖాస్తుదారుని ధ్రువపత్రాలను పరిశీలించి.. క్లాస్‌-1 గెజిటెడ్‌ అధికారి సిఫారసు చేయాలనే నిబంధన ఉంది. మారిన నిబంధనల మేరకు దరఖాస్తు దారుడు తన ఆధార్‌ను చూపించి తత్కాల్‌ పాస్‌పోర్టుకు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు.

పట్టణాలు, నగరాలకు దూరంగా నివసించేవారు ఆన్‌లైన్‌ ద్వారా టైం స్లాట్‌ను బుక్‌ చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఈ విషయంలో ఇప్పటి వరకు 'ఎవరు ముందొస్తే వారికి' విధానంలో రోజుకు 180 మందికే టైం స్లాట్‌ ఇస్తున్నారు.

దీనిని ఇక నుంచి 250 స్లాట్లకు పెంచారు. ఇక, 18 ఏళ్ల కన్నా తక్కువ వయసున్న వారు మాత్రం పాస్‌పోర్టు పొందేందుకు ఆధార్‌తోపాటు విద్యార్థి ఫొటో గుర్తింపు కార్డు, జనన ధ్రువీకరణ పత్రం సమర్పిస్తే సరిపోతుంది.

Those who need tatkal passport may now get it within three days paying an additional fee of ₹2000 in addition to the regular ₹1,500. According to Passport Officer N.L.P. Chowdary, those above 18 years of age need to submit Aadhaar card/Aadhaar allotment letter/e-Aadhaar containing the 12-digit Aadhaar number/28-digit Aadhaar enrolment ID printed on the Aadhaar enrolment slip issued by Unique Identification Authority of India.Self-declaration as per Annexure-E (can be accessed on website www.passportindia.gov.in) should be submitted along with copies of any two of the 13 identity documents. Applicants below 18 years should submit, besides their Aadhaar-related documents, one of the following: student photo identity card issued by an educational institution, birth certificate issued under Registration of Births and Deaths Act and ration card.Tatkal applicants will also get priority in getting appointments and printing of passports. Under the normal category, applicants will be issued passport post-verification.
