'బిల్లు'తో నిరసన తెలిపారని రెస్టారెంట్‌ను మూయించారు

ముంబై: ఎయిర్ కండిషన్డ్ రెస్టారెంట్‌లలో సర్వీస్ ట్యాక్స్ పెంచుతూ కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయం పట్ల ఓ హోటల్ వినూత్నంగా నిరసన తెలిపే ప్రయత్నం చేసింది. దాంతో అది కాస్త మూతబడింది. మహారాష్ట్ర రాజధాని ముంబై నగరంలోని అదిథి రెస్టారెంట్ వినియోగదారులకు ఇచ్చే బిల్లు మీద తమ నిరసనను తెలియజేస్తూ ముద్రించింది.

యుపిఏ ప్రభుత్వ విధానం ప్రకారం డబ్బు తినడం(2జి, బొగ్గు, సిడబ్ల్యూజీ కుంభకోణాలు) అవసరం, ఎసి హోటళ్లలో ఆహారం తీసుకోవడం విలాసం అంటూ బిల్లు మీద ముద్రించింది.

అది చూసిన కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలు ఆగ్రహంతో హోటల్ ముందు సోమవారం నిరసన చేపట్టారు. ఆ హోటల్‌ను మూయించే వరకు ఊరుకోలేదు. కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీ యూత్ అధ్యక్షుడు గణేష్ కుమార్ యాదవ్ తదితరులు ఆందోళనలో పాల్గొన్నారు. బోయవాడ పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు. పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేసుకున్నారు.

అయితే పోలీసులు జోక్యం చేసుకొని ఇరువర్గాలకు సర్ది చెప్పడంతో హోటల్ తిరిగి ఈరోజు(మంగళవారం) తెరుచుకున్నట్లుగా తెలుస్తోంది. యూపిఏ ప్రభుత్వానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా ముద్రించినందుకు హోటల్ యజమానితో పోలీసులు కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలకు క్షమాపణ చెప్పించారు.
